Information

For two decades, Jungkunst has provided a platform for young artists from all over Switzerland. With the 20th edition at the end of October 2026, we will not only be celebrating an anniversary but also reflecting on our origins: showcasing contemporary art and bringing it to the public. Public tours and a variety of educational programs offer visitors different ways to engage with the works and provide insight into the contexts in which they were created.

The festival’s music and family program is just as diverse as the art on display. Concerts and performances extend the exhibition space and invite visitors to linger and engage more deeply with the art. To keep you energized, there’s delicious food, sweet cakes, and sparkling drinks.

Accessibility

partially barrier-free. The artworks in Hall 710 are spread across two floors. A elevator is available to reach the upper level. To use it, please check in at the art kiosk right next to it.

The bar counters and food service areas are relatively high up. Food and drinks can only be picked up while standing. However, our volunteers will be happy to bring your food or drink to you in front of the counter so you can receive it comfortably.

There are plenty of places to sit in the hall, so you can enjoy concerts and performances while seated.

Awareness

Jungkunst sees itself as an inclusive space for everyone, regardless of gender, background, skin color, religion… Behavior that crosses boundaries or is inappropriate has no place at our festival.

Easy Read

The descriptions of each artwork are also available in easy read form. They can be found in the same location as the artwork descriptions.

Food and Drinks

We make sure that our menu always includes vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. The bar offers both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
The food menu consists of: samosas, corn soup, pumpkin soup, Älplermagronen, vegetarian hot dog & cake.

Temperature

Hall 710 is large and only partially insulated. We heat the hall as much as possible, but we recommend that you dress warmly. In October, it can already be relatively cold, depending on the weather.
