My visual language explores elements of relocation, spatial transition and the emotional state within it. I create three-dimensional pieces and large scale drawings on paper. Mediums used are primarily pencil and graphite powder. The production begins by translating pictures from a personal photographic archive. They are often modified to serve a purpose, their composition changes, its context alters.

I am fascinated by the human transition from one space to another, as well as the coexistence of many individuals. The feeling of home in its transformation. The depiction of architectural designs is strict, linear and contrasts with the blurriness of memory. They are linked to a personal remembrance of home. I am interested in how these layers create an architectural identity.

Here is a journal-like characteristic which allows me to chronicle these notions. My works are an introspective invitation to the viewer, a momentary return to their own topographies.
